Jordan Hinckley took his first sword class in January of 1999 and has been studying heavily the 15th century Italian Master Fiore di Liberi for the past 10 years.  He teaches our Saturday classes as well as teaching as many beginners classes as he can as he feels it is a great foundation to the larger work that is studied in class.

With a degree in Archaeology, and a passion for the sword arts,  he has coached Olympic sabre, as well as been teaching with the UCSA for the past 4 years, and was recently certified as a HEMA Alliance Instructor in the Italian Long Sword Tradition.

Jordan also writes a blog on his life as a HEMA coach here: and can also be seen playing Henry VIII in several of the local Renaissance Festivals.

Jack Stewart has been studying the Historical European Martial Arts since the age of 12 and has been teaching in his own right since 2016. Jack teaches our Thursday class and is always willing to assist in our Saturday class as well. Though his primary focus has been the Italian tradition, in the last few years he has also been studying the German Liechtenauer tradition for the past several years as well. He has won several local and international medals in Long Sword as well as cutting competitions around the western US.
